This page is a giant library of everything on this website, from my content to others, from photos to links and reviews.

As someone who regularly complains about capitalism it's also been my goal to try to help people imagine alternatives. Many times I have looped back to the concept of library, of free knowledge exchange and commons. So this page is a bit my homage to it as an attempt to showcase everything accessible here in one place.

Again something that took me decades to diagnose and understand. I felt abnormal for the better part of my life because I kept being haunted by dysphoric thoughts that I believed to be just me being broken and wrong. This affected my appearance and demeanor, and people thought I was gay or effeminate a lot, especially when I started to let my hair grow long. It remained a deep conflict I kept locked inside me for years, even a decade into my marriage. It's only (randomly) after seeing Lincoln Lyons, a trans character in [Years and Years](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8694364/) that a series of domino reflexions in my head came and broke the dam of denial. That year (2020) I started to experiment more with the help of my wife, and every step I took into accepting I was transgender felt like liberation. This cemented my decision to fully permanently transition, and while it's something of a lifetime process, it's been years since I've thought of myself as anything but the amazing Emma that I hope I have become. It remains one of the best decisions I have ever taken. I don't want to shy away from that part of me, and so it is also something I'm always open about. This is the reason why I haven't removed any of the old pieces featuring my old self of this website. They are me and I am them, they are part of my history, in how I built myself, and so without them the puzzle would be incomplete. In the same way I published my coming out letter from work on this blog as it is a good public-facing post about what I went through at the time and as such I wanted that piece of the puzzle here too. Oh also, # **TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS.**

The curse that never ceases aggravating. I absolutely love a decent chunk of our species and of what we’ve accomplished, but it’s hard to balance it with the crushing cumulated generational weight of this calamity we’ve inflicted. BOTH on this universe and on ourselves. ⚖️ Thankfully I somehow still remain largely optimistic, and trusting about people!! And its a constant wonder to discover *new* people, and their history and tales. but my god… sometimes.. ***fuck*** people.

I was diagnosed relatively late in my thirties, which meant I struggled with neurodivergence for most of my life. It's only in the past few years that I've started to understand and accept myself better. While I'm functional and can be independent, it does mean I have various issues with memory, processing, hearing, people, emotions, and so on. Everything I do is a bit harder, a bit off, but I wouldn't have it any other way because this uniqueness is also what built me as I am. I'm intense, I get deep, I spend a lot of time in my head and sometimes get lost there. All this to mean **I'm weird and proud of it** . I had a very difficult childhood because of it, with neither my families, friends or peers really seeing or understanding my differences. This led to various forms of bullying/neglect that made me really retract into myself, especially as I had difficulties making friends I saw myself in. It's this spiral inward that made me focus on my own inner world and on the Internet instead of Outside™. That developed me as an artist by making myself escape into my own art. Art was also always what helped me socialize and connect so it did save me in the end but the intense loneliness really made me angry and bitter at the world in my teens and I almost went really bad for a little while, but thankfully I corrected course. In particular finding long lasting love in someone that accepted me as I was, even admired me as I was, ended up being the start of the healing process. I can't say autism hasn't sometimes been a blessing too, and that's why I would never want it taken away. It's been the main drive of all my passions and hobbies, it's what made me eternally curious and empathetic, and good at the things I love. I would be a completely different person if I hadn't been born autistic, and I would maybe have had happier and more normal times. But I think ultimately, I would like that person less.
