The dictatorship was a different kettle of fish. I wanted to do something a little roundabout, more symbolic, which is why I chose (strangely enough) signage. I thought that, without it being outright dictatorship, it was something magnificently powerful; some weirdo draws a white line in the middle of the road and nobody dares drive on the left-hand side. I'm not going to get into a big philosophical debate about the state, the law, duty and so on, I just think the signage itself is interesting.
