I've been on various socials over the years, but unfortunately my initial enthusiasm slowly grew sour, as social media took over society and rewrote its rules for the worse. So I've left a lot of platforms behind over the years, like fucking Facebook, or fucking Twitter. Especially those motherfucking two, mY GOD what a scourge they brought upon us.

But for the moments it shined and made us laugh, or brought us all together, I still also have fond memories of social media, and I still went and looked for that feeling in the fediverse. All those words are part of me, so here they are including ones from deleted accounts, intact in the original cringe of their times. Yes even the current times I'm afraid!!

Watching the excellent (and completely unhinged) Possession (1981) and I keep thinking that baby Sam Neill is Dan Stevens 😅 to be fair the latter has become such a horror darling to me that I had forgotten who was the OG at playing madness. Adjani absolutely KILLS it too I heard it inspired the acting in the new Nosferatu then I guess I should finally see it

Finally switched from #plex to @jellyfin and I feel so dumb cause it was so easy and quick! Brought back the nostalgia of customizing my old XBMC setup 💠 :p

Still can't believe I could have saved myself so many rants about enshittification over the years 🥲 But I suppose every of these rants and all the others about every other app are part of my anticapitalist villain origin story so I probably needed them to be where I'm at

Fighting #depression feels hopeless at times... but it's still easier apparently than fighting the medical examiner to prove I am in fact, actually depressed and suicidal and that need my stupid leave 🥲 i think they just hope half the people who get treated this badly just end it so it eases on the #healthcare system??
