Socials

I've been on various socials over the years, but unfortunately my initial enthusiasm slowly grew sour, as social media took over society and rewrote its rules for the worse. So I've left a lot of platforms behind over the years, like fucking Facebook, or fucking Twitter. Especially those motherfucking two, mY GOD what a scourge they brought upon us.

But for the moments it shined and made us laugh, or brought us all together, I still also have fond memories of social media, and I still went and looked for that feeling in the fediverse. All those words are part of me, so here they are including ones from deleted accounts, intact in the original cringe of their times. Yes even the current times I'm afraid!!

X-Men: Days of Future Past, Explained in Git
I went to see X-Men: Days of Future Past last weekend. While having a heated discussion about the logic behind the time travel in the movie with fellow Rocketeer Lucas Galego, we realized that Git provides a great analogy for time travel. So here you have it, the new X-Men movie explained in Git. SPOILER ALERT If you haven't seen the movie yet then you probably shouldn't read this post. There are definitely spoilers here. If you have seen it then read on...
