À force de se balader dans des lieux abandonnés il y a des choses qui – si elles forçaient l’admiration fut un temps – en finissent par devenir banales. Les vestiges des divers squat en font partie ; au début on est surpris et admiratif devant toutes les petites traces de vie, les matelas, les vêtements, laissés en plan comme après une catastrophe. Puis au bout d’un moment on n’y fait plus attention. J’ai vraiment voulu rebrousser chemin, puis j’ai dévié et suis tombé sur un petit bâtiment minuscule encagé dans les ronces et les arbres, et j’y ai vu une porte entrouverte. De là ma curiosité a fait le reste. Je ne sais pas ce qui a fait que je me suis soudain senti la motivation de faire deux trois clichés. Je mise sur le fait que les murs de chaque pièce étaient entièrement recouverts de la même affiche comme si un maniaque avait voulu cacher chaque pan de mur : ça a piqué mon intérêt. J’ai fait chacune des pièces en navigant entre elles via des trous fait dans les murs, ce qui faisait très Silent Hill 4 pour le coup mais les portes avaient été bloquées de l’extérieur. J’ai trouvé peu de choses… on aurait un peu dit un bâtiment dans lequel on aurait laissé cinq personnes à survivre pendant cinq mois jusqu’à ce qu’elles deviennent folles et s’entretuent.

J’aime bien mettre en scène dans mes photos, créer de petites histoires en plus des habituels jeux de textures et de teintes, ce qui explique la part de plus en plus importante des « portraits ». Et je mets ce terme entre guillemets car toutes les photos où j’apparais ne sont pas des portraits pour autant. Le lieu de cette série était un peu particulier. C’était un village qui avait été construit pour je ne sais plus quelle raison, puis le projet avait été abandonné en cours de route et le village fut laissé là abandonné. L’architecture est clairement particulière et n’a rien à voir avec ce qui se fait de manière locale. Beaucoup des faux bâtiments sont en fait en bois et polystyrène, c’est vraiment tout un mirage de village qui évoque plus un décor de film que personne n’aurait défait que quelque chose qui visait à accueillir des gens ou des magasins. Le tout est couplé à de longs hangars, comme toujours maquillés de tags et de fresques en tout genre. Des fresques dont une que j’ai trouvé assez imposante, sur le thème d’Alice in Wonderland.

En ce moment je traverse un peu une période de disette en terme de lieux à visiter. On m’en a bien envoyé deux (et je remercie la personne soit dit en passant) mais rien de l’envergure d’un complexe à la Terre d’Asile ou du faux village de The Wasp. Du coup en attendant dans ma sécheresse visuelle je rumine; tourne et retourne mes vieux clichés, et de temps à autres j’en trouve que je ne vous ai jamais montrés parfois par manque de qualité par rapport au reste de la série, parfois par simple envie de ne pas trop en mettre d’un coup. Du coup voici quelques photos qui jusqu’à présent étaient perdues au fond de mes tiroirs virtuels, pas tout d’exception qu’on s’entende, mais de quoi occuper un peu ce blog en attendant ma prochaine série. Gardez ça en tête et soyez indulgents.

À force de se balader dans des lieux abandonnés il y a des choses qui – si elles forçaient l’admiration fut un temps – en finissent par devenir banales. Les vestiges des divers squat en font partie ; au début on est surpris et admiratif devant toutes les petites traces de vie, les matelas, les vêtements, laissés en plan comme après une catastrophe. Puis au bout d’un moment on n’y fait plus attention. J’ai vraiment voulu rebrousser chemin, puis j’ai dévié et suis tombé sur un petit bâtiment minuscule encagé dans les ronces et les arbres, et j’y ai vu une porte entrouverte. De là ma curiosité a fait le reste. Je ne sais pas ce qui a fait que je me suis soudain senti la motivation de faire deux trois clichés. Je mise sur le fait que les murs de chaque pièce étaient entièrement recouverts de la même affiche comme si un maniaque avait voulu cacher chaque pan de mur : ça a piqué mon intérêt. J’ai fait chacune des pièces en navigant entre elles via des trous fait dans les murs, ce qui faisait très Silent Hill 4 pour le coup mais les portes avaient été bloquées de l’extérieur. J’ai trouvé peu de choses… on aurait un peu dit un bâtiment dans lequel on aurait laissé cinq personnes à survivre pendant cinq mois jusqu’à ce qu’elles deviennent folles et s’entretuent.

J’aime bien mettre en scène dans mes photos, créer de petites histoires en plus des habituels jeux de textures et de teintes, ce qui explique la part de plus en plus importante des « portraits ». Et je mets ce terme entre guillemets car toutes les photos où j’apparais ne sont pas des portraits pour autant. Le lieu de cette série était un peu particulier. C’était un village qui avait été construit pour je ne sais plus quelle raison, puis le projet avait été abandonné en cours de route et le village fut laissé là abandonné. L’architecture est clairement particulière et n’a rien à voir avec ce qui se fait de manière locale. Beaucoup des faux bâtiments sont en fait en bois et polystyrène, c’est vraiment tout un mirage de village qui évoque plus un décor de film que personne n’aurait défait que quelque chose qui visait à accueillir des gens ou des magasins. Le tout est couplé à de longs hangars, comme toujours maquillés de tags et de fresques en tout genre. Des fresques dont une que j’ai trouvé assez imposante, sur le thème d’Alice in Wonderland.

En ce moment je traverse un peu une période de disette en terme de lieux à visiter. On m’en a bien envoyé deux (et je remercie la personne soit dit en passant) mais rien de l’envergure d’un complexe à la Terre d’Asile ou du faux village de The Wasp. Du coup en attendant dans ma sécheresse visuelle je rumine; tourne et retourne mes vieux clichés, et de temps à autres j’en trouve que je ne vous ai jamais montrés parfois par manque de qualité par rapport au reste de la série, parfois par simple envie de ne pas trop en mettre d’un coup. Du coup voici quelques photos qui jusqu’à présent étaient perdues au fond de mes tiroirs virtuels, pas tout d’exception qu’on s’entende, mais de quoi occuper un peu ce blog en attendant ma prochaine série. Gardez ça en tête et soyez indulgents.
